Mountain Vista Quarterback Club Silent Auction
It’s time for the Back to School Sock Hop and Silent Auction on August 20, 2011. This is a major fundraiser for Football and a chance for some great fun. We are collecting items for donation. Mountain Vista Football families are so generous and creative about donating to the Silent Auction, we know we can count on you! Any items you would like to share, services you can offer, baskets of goodies, collectibles, tickets to events and activities are always fun. If you have a vacation home (or the property in which you usually stay) and would like to offer a night or two for a lovely retreat-that brings some good bidding! Remember, Silent Auctions are a great way to advertise or introduce a family to a product or service. So don’t be afraid to ask anyone you do business with or friends that have businesses for a donation. For example, a free exam from an eye doctor may forge a long term relationship with an entire family. Often, a suggestion of what to donate can start a business owner thinking. Check out the attached letters for ideas. The Quarterback Club is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) organization, a chapter of The Douglas County Educational Foundation. Send us an email with your donation and we will pick it up or make arrangements. We will maintain a list of business donations, so we don’t overwhelm them. This is also a good time to remember advertising in the Gameday Program. As you contact someone, ask them if they are interested in an ad. You will find letters, sponsorship levels on the website. Corporate Sponsors get to hang banners at games, PA spots during the game and program ad. Again, good advertising for a reasonable price. We can help with ads if needed.
